NEASG is designed under a Mac OS, but uses Bootcamp (Fake Windows) to check it out as if it were a PC. Didn't really catch this one!

Red Dawn is being remade into a modern version, and it'll be out later this year! Thought this was definately worth sharing! Since almost every player in the NEASG has seen Red Dawn at least once!

While upgrading the Classifieds section- there were 5 things that could have gone wrong that would result in data loss.

And like an airsoft game- 5 things went wrong.

We were looking to upgrade the classifieds- with our latest patch, which would include PM intergration, Paypal, Discussions under the items, Easier image gallery, Auto ad renewal, and an optional bidding system.

At the same time- there were still some big flaws in the upgrade; so we are going to wait until May 2010 for the new upgrade.

The problem is; It was still a little early- and even though we had backed everything up during the move; the new system overwrote the old system, and all of the ads.

We WERE however; able to restore the files, from an earlier date. Beginning of February.

Sorry if this causes any inconvenience for anybody- rest assured, we are making sure this doesn't happen again.

We now have nightly backups of the entire system from our hosting company to provide quick and seamless restores of any problems that may arise in the future.

The problem with the classifieds now is that- we were able to restore the ads up to early February; but without images.

The ads from the past few weeks- are not up.

To reiterate, This WILL NOT happen again.
